Although I'm not a born and bred Roaring Fork Valley "local", I have made this valley my home with no intentions to leave anytime soon. I live in Snowmass Village with my husband and my two horses John and Leroy - luckily for my husband the horses are boarded at a local ranch and don't take up space in our cozy condo.
I've been immersed in the equestrian lifestyle for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Wisconsin riding saddleseat, practicing my equitation aboard a lifesize handmade rocking horse, and volunteering at a therapeutic equestrian center.
After completing a dual degree at the University of Denver I moved south to soak up the Texas ranch life. I spent my time learning about cutting horses and starting colts from the legendary Larry Mahan. After a few months, I was drawn back to Colorado where I spent time on the front range working polo ponies and training at a sale barn.
A few years later I met the love of my life and relocated to the valley where I've lived ever since.
